An advertising man who has brought his bride to the boss' mountain lodge for a honeymoon calls in the local police to investigate her sudden disappearance. Enter a pretty young girl who insists over his protests that she is the missing wife. A priest backs up her story. A funny little man who owns a delicatessen enters and before you know it, there are two murders at the isolated lodge.

When a die hard theatre fan plays his favorite cast album, the characters come to life in this hilarious musical farce. Winner of five Tony Awards, The Drowsy Chaperone is a loving send-up of the Jazz Age musical, featuring one show-stopping song and dance number after another.

The Drowsy Chaperone will be presented on the Alumni Hall stage on March 17 and 18 at 7 pm, and on March 19 at 2 pm.

For over 40 years, St. Francis High School has produced full scale, Broadway style musicals. Coupled with an even longer history of presenting quality dramas has made the school's drama program a cornerstone of our Fine Arts program.
